Seamless steel pipe is perforated by the whole round steel, the surface of no weld steel pipe, known as seamless steel pipe. According to the production method, seamless steel tubes can be divided into hot-rolled seamless steel tubes, cold-rolled seamless steel tubes, cold-drawn seamless steel tubes, extruded seamless steel tubes, pipe jacking, etc. According to the shape of the section, the seamless steel tube is divided into two kinds: round and special-shaped. The special-shaped tube has a variety of complex shapes, such as square, oval, triangle, hexagonal, melon seed, star and finned tube. The maximum diameter is up to 900mm and the minimum diameter is 4mm. According to the different USES, there are thick wall seamless steel tube and thin wall seamless steel tube. Seamless steel tubes are mainly used for petroleum geological drilling pipes, cracking pipes for petrochemical industry, boiler and furnace pipes, bearing pipes and high-precision structural steel pipes for automobile, tractor and aviation.
